2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not store your password directly.

2.2 Interview & Assessment Data

During AI mock interviews, we temporarily process audio recordings of your responses for speech-to-text transcription. Audio files are stored temporarily (up to 7 days) and then automatically deleted. Your text transcriptions, scores, and feedback are retained as part of your skill profile.

2.3 Skill & Assessment Data

We collect your assessment answers, scores, skill evaluations, and learning roadmap progress to provide personalized recommendations and build your skill intelligence profile.

2.4 Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, to improve our platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Generate AI-powered interview feedback, skill assessments, and career roadmaps
  • Build and maintain your skill intelligence profile
  • Personalize your learning experience with adaptive recommendations

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers who assist in operating our platform:

  • Clerk — Authentication and user management
  • Google Cloud Platform — Cloud infrastructure, AI/ML services (Vertex AI, Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech), and storage
  • Deepgram — Speech recognition processing
  • Neon — Database hosting
  • Vercel — Frontend hosting and deployment

Each provider processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), secure cloud infrastructure, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Audio recordings: Automatically deleted after 7 days
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Skill profile & assessment data: Retained while your account is active
  • Community experiences: Retained indefinitely as community-contributed content

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
